CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

Here at Woodland, we are excited about seeing the lives of kids transformed through faith in Jesus Christ! We are committed to sharing with them the Good News of Jesus Christ, teaching them the foundational truths of God’s Word, and encouraging them to live out their faith every day.
We do this through encouraging and equipping parents, reaching out to kids and families in our community, and providing intentional programming just for kids.

Sundays

9:00am Worship Service

    • Nursery for ages 6 weeks through 2 years

10:30am Sunday School (September—May)

    • Nursery for ages 6 weeks through 3 years
    • Discovery Land for ages 3 through 5th grade. Kids learn to Know, Think, Do and Feel Right according to God’s Word in fun, interactive ways!

Wednesdays (school year)

Truth Seekers meets at Woodland from 6:30 – 7:45pm. Truth Seekers is for kids ages 3* through 5th grade. Kids learn about the truth of God’s Word and the saving love of Jesus Christ in a high-energy, super-fun setting.

Summer

A week of Vacation Bible School (VBS—ages 4 through going into 4th grade) and Vacation Bible eXperience (VBX—going into 5th and 6th grades) is offered during the summer and is held at the Genesis Youth Center in Rib Lake. We have a blast and learn a lot about Jesus!

VBS/VBX 2023

    • This year’s dates are July 24-28 and it runs 9-:11:30am daily.

The Details

  • New 3-year-olds are welcome to join Truth Seekers at two points: at the beginning of the school year and at the start of the second half of the year in January.
  • The safety and security of children left in our care is an extremely high priority. All volunteers receive safety training and adult volunteers are background checked. In addition, we have a policy that at no time should a volunteer or staff member be alone with a child.
  • New friends are always welcome!
  • Parents of children with special needs are encouraged to contact us in advance so we can ensure that we are ready to safely and effectively meet your children’s needs.
